DACOTIN 50MG INJECTION contains Oxaliplatin which belongs to the group of medicine called Anticancer drugs. It is used to treat cancers of the colon and/or rectum. It is highly used in combination with other anti-cancer medicines (such as 5-flurouracil and folinic acid) as an adjunct to treat stage III colon cancer after removing the primary tumour. It can also be used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer (cancer of colon and rectum that has been spread to other parts of the body).\n\nBefore receiving DACOTIN 50MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have low white blood count in your blood or recently received or planning to receive any vaccination in the upcoming days.
